Only Consume Sustainable Seafood

Fish on ice at a market with a red x overlaid

What is the most sustainable seafood? The seafood you don't eat. The best way to help save the fisheries is cutting seafood out of your diet and your pet's diets. Many pet foods contain fish products with very large carbon footprints. Try to avoid these! We have produced fish-less recipe videos including tacos & poke bowls. Click the button below to watch the videos.

A good alternative for those who love eating fish is to only purchase and consume sustainable & traceable seafood. In the United States be sure to only buy fish that were caught in the USA by US fishermen. The Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch program is a great resource for measuring the sustainability of the seafood on your plates.
